Sandia unveils small-reactor project
Sandia National Laboratories announced that it has developed a small nuclear reactor and is seeking partners to market it domestically and internationally. The reactor, which could be built in two years, could generate about 100 to 300 megawatts, Sandia said. About 85% of the design is finished, and the cost could fall to $250 million once production begins. Greentech Media
