Brazilian Nuke Plant Gets Construction License

* Angra III nuclear project secures construction license
Brazil's National Nuclear Energy Commission has approved the construction license for the Angra III nuclear power plant. The $4.94 billion facility, which will have a generating capacity of 1,405 megawatts, will lead to about 24,000 jobs during the construction period. Latin American Herald Tribune (Venezuela)
