GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy’s ARC Recognized for Its Potential to Make Energy out of Used Nuclear Fuel

With a special commission evaluating options to help the U.S. Department of Energy develop a scientifically sound and economically viable strategy to deal with the growing stockpiles of used nuclear fuel from commercial reactors, GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) today announced its Advanced Recycling Center (ARC) technology has been approved as a part of GE's ecomagination portfolio.
