NEI Supports ANS Japan Relief Fund

NEI advises that this message (below) was sent to its members on Monday April 11, 2011. It calls for the organization’s members to support the Japan Relief Fund at the American Nuclear Society.  Full text of the NEI message below.  Some graphics in the original will not show up in this message on the listserv.

NEI has determined the most effective way for us to help our friends and colleagues in the nuclear industry, and their families, in Japan who have been so terribly impacted by the recent earthquake and tsunami is to combine our resources with the American Nuclear Society who has organized a Japan Relief Fund.
NEI will match the ANS contribution of $15K and encourages each of our member companies to make corporate or individual contributions to this Relief Fund. ANS is working with the Japan Atomic Industrial Forum to ensure the funds go to the nuclear workers.
