Fukushima Daiichi plant remains fragile, official says
The
Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant in Japan is still vulnerable almost a
year after it was struck by an earthquake and tsunami that led to
several meltdowns. "Even though the plant has achieved what we call
'cold shutdown conditions,' it still causes problems that must be
improved," said Takeshi Takahashi, the plant's chief. The Washington Times/The Associated Press
