Future Markets Workshop on Flexibility: Abstracts, Keynote, and
Registration Updates
The
Office of Energy Policy and Systems Analysis (EPSA) at the U.S. Department of
Energy (DOE) and the Siebel Energy Institute (SEI) will host its inaugural
Future Markets Workshop on July 26, 2017 in Washington, DC. The Workshop is
designed to highlight innovative ideas that will facilitate changing trends in
electricity markets.
We
seek original abstracts describing market transformations in electricity
markets, finance, economics, or operations that can enhance the ability to
supply or acquire flexibility. Submit your abstract to the event portal by this Friday, May 12.
The
event will be held at the National Press Club on Wednesday, July 26 in
Washington, DC. Registration is now open at the event portal.
The
organizers are pleased to welcome keynote speaker Mary Wierzbicki, from the
Office of Energy Policy and Innovation at the Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission.
The Office of Energy Policy and Systems Analysis delivers
data-driven analysis to DOE leadership on existing and prospective
energy-related policies.
The Siebel Energy
Institute is a global consortium for innovative and collaborative energy
research dedicated to advancing the science of smart energy and accelerating
advancements in the safety, security, reliability, efficiency, and
environmental integrity of energy and cyber-physical systems.
