Nuclear Regulatory Commission fining Southern Co. for faked Vogtle inspections - Atlanta Business Chronicle: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is proposing to fine Atlanta-based Southern Co. $145,000 for faking inspections at nuclear Plant Vogtle, the federal agency said Wednesday.
