Taiwan eyes October 2011 startup for 4th nuclear plant
Taiwan Power, or Taipower, plans to start operations at its fourth nuclear energy facility by October 2011. Taipower's chief engineer, Tu Yueh-yuan, said she is "cautiously optimistic" that the company could meet the goal, and it will make sure that work on the plant follows the highest safety standards.
