Opinion: Oil companies can learn safety measures from nuclear


Oil companies should consider adopting the safety procedures of the nuclear industry to avoid a recurrence of an accident like the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, writes John C. Ringle, an Oregon State University professor emeritus of nuclear engineering, in this opinion column.
