Florida Power & Light has entered into a partnership with Miami-Dade County, Fla. on reclaimed water that is expected to benefit the county and the Turkey Point nuclear-expansion project. The agreement requires the county to ship much as 90 million gallons of treated water daily to Turkey Point. Upon arrival, the water would be retreated and used as a cooling agent for the facilities.
