Wind Power Won't Cool Down the Planet Often enough it leads to higher carbon emissions.

  • Robert Bryce, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, argues that wind energy will not help reduce carbon dioxide emissions. He lists two reasons why: "First, wind blows only intermittently and variably. Second, wind-generated electricity largely displaces power produced by natural gas-fired generators, rather than that from plants burning more carbon-intensive coal." The Wall Street Journal
