Entergy is adding monitoring wells around Vt. plant
Entergy is drilling more wells outside its Vermont Yankee plant to improve monitoring of tritium levels in the water near the facility. The company has extracted 245,000 gallons of radioactive water from the ground using three different wells, and is seeking to reach 300,000 gallons, according to the Vermont Department of Health.
