Babcock & Wilcox lands TVA contract

TVA awards services deal for Ala. nuclear plant

 

The Canadian unit of Babcock & Wilcox has secured a contract to develop two steam generators for the Tennessee Valley Authority's Bellefonte nuclear plant in Alabama. The generators, which weigh 500 tons each, will generate superheated steam to power the turbines. The companies did not disclose the deal's monetary terms.
