Nuclear Energy Enabling Technologies (NEET) Workshop Report
This is the report on the Nuclear Energy Enabling Technologies (NEET) Workshop, which the DOE Office of Nuclear Energy held in Rockville, Md., on July 29, 2010. The NEET Program is a new activity proposed in the Department’s FY 2011 Budget Request. The primary purposes in convening the NEET workshop were to obtain stakeholder input on the crosscutting technology R&D needs to support NE’s R&D Roadmap objectives; and to inform a possible solicitation for transformative, “out-of-the-box” solutions across the full range of nuclear energy technology issues.
