Salem County nuclear plant gets approval to produce isotope for medical use

PSEG Nuclear gets OK to produce Cobalt-60 radioisotope

 

The federal government has given PSEG Nuclear in Salem County, N.J., the green light to produce the Cobalt-60 radioisotope. The company has partnered with GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy in this initiative.
