A joint venture between Shaw Group and Toshiba has secured a deal from Nuclear Innovation North America to provide engineering, procurement and building for the proposed expansion of NRG Energy's South Texas Project nuclear plant. Both companies have "industry-leading expertise in building nuclear power plants, and combined, they can deliver on-time and on-budget construction excellence," said Steve Winn, CEO of NINA.
