Russia keen to partner India in tapping thorium cycle

Russia offers to develop fast-neutron reactor with India
Russia and India are in talks to collaborate on a "new generation" fast-neutron reactor in a deal that would tap India's thorium fuel cycle, the Indian Department of Atomic Energy announced. If the agreement pushes through, thorium and uranium-233 would power electricity output from the reactors under India's three-stage nuclear energy program. The Hindu Business Line (India)
