Analysts Play Down Japan Plant Radiation Threat

The radioactive materials released by Japan's damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant pose little threat beyond the island nation's borders when other radiation sources are taken into consideration, the New York Times on Monday quoted specialists as saying (see GSN, May 2).
