Japan Pressed for Reforms Over Nuclear Crisis

Japan "underestimated" the danger posed to its nuclear facilities by tsunamis and should implement significant safety reforms in light of the ongoing crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi plant, the International Atomic Energy Agency said in an initial review of the disaster handed over to Japan's prime minister on Wednesday (see GSN, May 31).
