Senate Panel Approves Obama Nominee For Nuclear Commission

The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee voted unanimously Thursday to clear William Ostendorff for a second term on the five-member NRC panel. Ostendorff has served as a commissioner since April 2010 and his current term expires at the end of June.
