Talks between Utah nuclear plant planners, feds ‘well under way’
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission held discussions this week on Blue Castle Holdings' "early site application" for a proposed nuclear plant in Utah. Consultants for Blue Castle updated NRC officials on the progress they made on earthquake studies and archaeological and environmental surveys at the proposed site. "We're well under way," said William Lettis of Fugro Consultants, the firm leading the seismic review team.
