Areva, Rolls-Royce, EDF sign reactor-services deals
Areva, Electricite de France and Rolls-Royce Holdings have forged deals worth more than $793 million involving the construction of new reactors in the U.K. Under the terms, Areva and Rolls-Royce will provide manufacturing for EDF's reactors in the U.K. "The deals signed today reflect our ongoing desire to work closely together with our French allies and the private sector on nuclear, and across the energy mix," said Edward Davey, U.K. Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change.
