Ga. counties welcome approval of Plant Vogtle expansion project
Several
Georgia counties welcomed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's approval
of Southern Co.'s plan to build two new reactors at its Plant Vogtle
near Waynesboro because of the project's job-generation potential. "It
wakes everybody up. There's an excitement in the air for new jobs for
