OPPD, NRC meeting about Neb. plant was positive, exec says
A meeting between officials from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Omaha Public Power District about the utility's Fort Calhoun nuclear plant in Nebraska was productive, said Gary Gates, OPPD's president and CEO. The facility has been offline since April because of refueling maintenance and flooding. "The recovery process is in full swing," Gates said. KETV-TV (Omaha, Neb.)
