Lithuania and Hitachi sign concession agreement on Visaginas Nuclear Power Plant by I-Nuclear Lithuania’s plans to build a 1,350-MW Hitachi-GE ABWR at Ignalina advanced March 30 with the signing of a “concession agreement” between Visaginas Nuclear Power Plant and Hitachi Ltd. According to a statement from the Lithuanian Energy Ministry, Lithuania and Hitachi signed the agreement in Vilnius March 30, but the details of the contract have not been made public yet.
