Industry execs are upbeat on nuclear energy's prospects
Two industry executives said they remain bullish about nuclear energy's prospects one year after the Fukushima Daiichi incident in Japan. The incident showed that nuclear plants are capable of handling natural disasters, said Aris Candris, president and CEO of Westinghouse Electric. Overall, the facility held up well against flooding, said Jacques Besnainou, CEO of Areva's U.S. unit. MarketWatch
