Nuclear energy has a future
Sound policy reforms and learning the right lessons from the Fukushima Daiichi incident in Japan are key to nuclear energy's future, writes Jack Spencer, senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation. Reforms should focus on introducing market forces to the management of radioactive waste and broadening the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's technical expertise.
