Francesca Iudicello
IHS ESDU – Fluid Mechanics, Internal Flow - Group Head
Francesca is responsible for the development and maintenance of the ESDU Fluid Mechanics, Internal Flow Series. She has a Master in Nuclear Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
Francesca is a thermo-fluids specialist with experience in computational fluid dynamics and experimental methods applied to a number of engineering fields: PWR nuclear reactors, automotive pump systems, internal flow components used in A&D, power generation, nuclear facilities etc.
As Francesca joined IHS in 2002, she started a new area for the development of design guidelines in internal flow systems using computational fluid dynamics. She has recently being working in the ESDU Nuclear Package and is often involved in customer presentations.
Francesca is also member of technical and professional committees such as NAFEMS, IMechE and the Nuclear Ventilation Forum.
