The House of Representatives voted to preserve a provision in a defense-program bill that would allocate about $150 million for USEC's uranium-enrichment facility in Ohio. The company is seeking a $2 billion loan guarantee from the Department of Energy. "Over the last three years, the Obama administration has worked tirelessly to support the American Centrifuge Plant," said department spokeswoman Jen Stutsman.
