Areva Notes Progress Toward U.S. License for Its EPR Nuclear Plant Design (With Video)
Areva announced Friday that its application to license its generation III+ reactor in the United States has passed a critical review by US regulators.The Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s independent Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards has completed its review of the design’s safety evaluation report, with open items, the French nuclear firm reported in a release.
