Response Activities by U.S. Nuclear Industry
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Nuclear Energy
Institute this Friday will hold a teleconference to update journalists on the
U.S. nuclear energy industry's response to the Fukushima Daiichi accident.
Adrian Heymer, NEI's executive director for Fukushima response coordination,
will discuss the wide-ranging efforts under way to address lessons that the
industry and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission have derived from the March
2011 accident.
