North Korea Makes New Nuclear Threat

North Korea on Sunday renewed its threat to bolster its nuclear force, as South Korea and the United States carried out a set of military exercises against their longtime foe, Agence France-Presse reported (see GSN, June 22).
The drills coincided with the Monday anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War in 1950. The conflict has never been formally ended.
