The
Nuclear Regulatory Commission has appointed a new executive director
for its Office of New Reactors following the promotion last month of
Michael Johnson to the position of deputy executive director for reactor
and preparedness programs.
The
NRC announced the appointments Tuesday. Glenn Tracy, previously the
agency’s deputy chief human capital officer, was tapped to head the new
reactor office. When it was established in 2006, he was appointed
director of its Division of Construction Inspection and Operational
Programs.
