Report: U.K. stands to benefit from new reactor projects
New
reactor projects in the U.K. could generate more than 32,000 jobs
annually and spur economic growth, according to an EDF
Energy-commissioned report. The U.K. government backs such projects in
an effort to fulfill climate-change targets and gain additional sources
of electricity. EDF Energy, Spain's Iberdrola and France's GDF Suez are
