Georgia Power to delay release of spending report on Vogtle project

Georgia Power removed the project-to-date share of expenditures on the construction of the Unit 3 and 4 reactors at Plant Vogtle in the company's latest monthly report. Spokesman Mark Williams said the company decided to include the updated figures in the Vogtle construction monitor report next month, so as not to conflict with the timing of regulatory filings. Last month, Georgia Power revealed it spent roughly $2.23 billion through May, almost 90% of which went to direct costs. SNL Financial (free content)
