Slightly elevated tritium level is found at Exelon plant
A monitoring well at Exelon's Three Mile Island nuclear plant in Pennsylvania was found to have a slightly elevated tritium level, but it did not pose a health or safety risk to the public, the company said. Exelon said the well is in an area where the nuclear plant recirculates groundwater for nonpotable use. A team of experts is investigating the source of the tritium, Exelon said. Reuters
