  • Study: South Korea generates 17,089 MW of nuclear energy
    A Bloomberg study shows that South Korea produces a total of 15,252 megawatts of nuclear power from 16 nuclear reactors and 1,837 MW from two plants that are undergoing trials. The South Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy said the Kori-1 reactor will resume production after state-run producer Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power confers with the government and receives local residents' support.
