Video Update of Vogtle Nuclear Plant Construction - Units 3 and 4
The following Southern Company video details the latest progress in the construction of Units 3 and 4 at Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant.The 2,200 construction workers have made considerable progress since last quarters update. As the video below details, turbine island components are arriving including the 3,600 ton condensers from South Korea.
An update is also provided on the world’s first AP1000 Units in Sanmen and Haiyang China which are approximately 2 years ahead of Vogtle’s construction.
