Vattenfall eyes new reactors in Sweden

Sweden's Vattenfall has submitted an application to replace one or two reactors with new units, according to the country's Radiation Safety Authority. "To construct and bring a new reactor is a lengthy process ... tested in several steps," the agency said. "The entire process will take 10-15 years from when we have received an application until a potential reactor is brought on line." Reuters
