Nuclear energy capacity growth slowing after Fukushima - IAEA

IAEA lowers projection of global nuclear energy growth
The International Atomic Energy Agency has lowered its estimate for nuclear generation worldwide by 2030 as the industry continues to cope with the impact of the Fukushima Daiichi incident in Japan. The agency is projecting between 8% and 16% lower growth than it did before the March 2011 incident. Asian countries are expected to spur most of the growth, IAEA said.
