A
whistleblower lawsuit was filed against FPL about an incident in 2009
and is making the rounds. The compliant is being made by Mark Hicks who
was the operational manager at St. Lucie at that time. He apparently
ordered the plant shut down in 2009 when coolant leakage was discovered
during a start-up.
