Vote for Energy Security

GEC National PNG
November 6, 2012

My Fellow Americans,

Today our nation finds itself at a crossroads. One path leads to energy security and new economic prosperity and the other leads to a continued degredation of our economy and our energy security.

The facts that cannot be refuted is that today our nation uses far less foriegn oil than it did four years ago and that there are more people employed in the Wind industry than in the US Steel industry. More renewable energy has been installed in America in the last 4 years than in the last 12 years.

I have dedicated almost every moment of my life over the last six years to assist green technology companies in becoming successful. I have spent on average 150 days each year traveling to 47 of our great 50 states. I have met with small town mayors, congressional leaders and International leaders promoting green technology.

I have seen technologies here in America that with the right support could literally change the World. Brilliant ideas that if just backed by our Federal government would put millions of Americans back to work.

Why was America so successful over the last 60 plus years?

Because we built things. Because America realized that we could manufacture anything! During World War 2 we made a war machine that freed the World from oppression in 44 months. Yet we haven't had a viable energy policy in over 40 years!

Returning American soldiers from World War 2 came home to jobs. Jobs in manufacturing. Jobs in building new homes and businesses. We built an economic superpower by our ability to make things that the World wanted.

As soon as we stopped building. The American economy collapsed. We sent our manufacturing jobs to China and our service based jobs to India. All we were left with was pushing empty paper on Wall St. and we are reaping the economy that we sowed.

Green technologies and renewable energy have the ability of recapturing American manufacturing prowess while restoring our economy at the same time. The old manufacturing industries are gone and they are not coming back. We need a new industry that can help America recapture its prosperity again. There is only one industry on the radar that can save America and the World economies. That industry is Green technology.

The future infrastructure jobs created here in America should not be building bridges, tunnels and roads to nowhere. It just won't work. We need to digitize the US Power Grid. We need to treat energy as a National Security issue. We need to build renewable energy projects all across America.

We need to use the aftermath of Super Storm Sandy to rebuild the Eastern United States power grid. Only 16% of our nations energy structure is under ground. If the entire power grid in New York and New Jersey were a Smart Grid than 8 million Americans would not have been without power for more than a week. People would not have loss of life or property from downed power lines.

We need to make every home, business and building in our Nation as energy efficient and weatherized as possible. That will save Americans and American businesses money every day. We need to take back the subsidies for big oil, nuclear and ethanol and get our troops home and do some nation building here.
President Obama, Mr. Romney, I say this to you and every politician that thinks they have a chance to get elected on this day, if you don't show Americans how you are really going to get them back to work so they can stop losing their homes, put food on the table and gas in the tank, THEN YOU DON'T HAVE A CHANCE OF GETTING ELECTED!

This election will come down to Jobs and Energy...

The plan is simple.....No jobs...No White House... The shoe fits for both sides of the isle and the Tea party.

Please get out and vote today...The future of our nation as an economic superpower depends on it..

Sincerely,

Ralph Avallone
