The Nuclear Regulatory Commission found concerns
with efforts to repair the steam generators at SCE's San
Onofre nuclear plant in California. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which
manufactured the generators, failed to prove that more than 1,000 tubes being
used in a repair analysis program matched the tubing designs of the components,
according to a report from the NRC.
