"Nuclear Energy: Perspectives on the Growth of Nuclear Power in the US and Globally"

Next week, Platts is sponsoring a conference "Nuclear Energy: Perspectives on the Growth of Nuclear Power in the US and Globally" at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday, Feb. 20, Kathryn McCarthy, Ph.D., director of the Light Water Reactor Sustainability Integration office, Idaho National Laboratory will address extending the life span of US nuclear reactors. Her talk is at 12:30 p.m. If anyone on this list is interested, Kathy will be available during the conference to discuss the Light Water Reactor Sustainability Program -- either for background or an interview. Send a note to me at Teri.Ehresman@inl.gov if you are interested in talking with her or drop by INL's booth at the meeting.

Also, I'm pleased to see Margaret Harding, president, 4 Factor Consulting, is on a panel Feb. 21 at 11:30 a.m. discussing "Exports of Nuclear Technology -- Opportunity and Challenges for US Exporters."
