Iran Pressed to Aid U.N. Nuclear Probe
Iran's estrangement from the global community will increase if the
International Atomic Energy Agency cannot advance an investigation into
nuclear arms-relevant experiments allegedly conducted by the country, Reuters quoted a U.S. diplomat as saying on Wednesday.Iran and the U.N. nuclear watchdog last month held their latest in a series of meetings intended to establish ground rules for the Vienna, Austria-based organization to probe claims that Iran has pursued various projects capable of supporting nuclear-bomb development.
