Babcock & Wilcox Videos Illustrate Construction Process for Small Modular Reactor

Babcock & Wilcox recently animated the following videos to provide a 3D view of how its mPower small modular reactor would come together at a typical plant. Each pressurized water reactor would generate roughly 180 megawatts, and plants could be designed to accommodate as many as 10 units. B&W announced last week it plans to sell much of its stake in the project, which the Department of Energy has selected for as much as $226 million in matching funding.
