The bad news for U.S. nuclear vendors is that the market for new nuclear plants around the world is no longer a U.S. monopoly. It’s a complicated, global market with well-equipped, well-financed, and well-managed competitors, primarily in Japan, Russia, South Korea, and, potentially, China.
