IF YOU DON’T BUILD IT, THEY WILL FORGET: The world outside of China is not building nuclear power facilities, with the eco-radicals intent upon closing coal powered electricity generating plants everywhere while they are equally opposed to the building of new nuclear power facilities. We note, for example, that France… the country we truly have most admired in this instance because France had long ago chosen to generate the majority of its electricity from cheap nuclear power… is about to move to the end-game of building its Flamanville nuclear facility, a process that began back in ’07 and has been slowed to a new halt because there are simply no engineers and construction people familiar with the process. Until ’07 when Flamanville was begun, France had not built a nuclear plant since sometime in the early 90’s and thus there has been, effectively, and entire generation of engineers unfamiliar with the process.http://www.petroleumworld.com/issues14051401.htm
