Why Renewables Haven't Destroyed the Grid - Yet!
When I talk to groups about renewable energy I start off with a
Youtube video which demonstrates testing the compression strength of a
concrete block. For 2 minutes and 40 seconds this is the most boring
video you could imagine. The block shows absolutely no sign of stress.
At 2:41 the concrete block fails and is utterly destroyed. As far as I am concerned we
