First HTGR Fuel Element Equipment Passed Test
Recently, the HTGR fuel element product line
of China North Nuclear Fuel Co. Ltd(CNNFC) accomplished the monomer
debugging of the first double main shaft NC lathe of fuel sphere
preparation shop, which marks the construction of the product line
entering into a new stage.
The double main shaft NC lathe is the special-purpose lathe of fuel sphere machining, mainly used for processing the final boundary dimension of the fuel sphere.
CNNF HTGR fuel element product line started focus on equipment installation and debugging work since May. At present, the core preparation shop and fuel sphere preparation shop finished most of the installation works of main equipment, the monomer debugging work of other equipments are in preparing.
